Introducing Healthcare Call Center Times
Physician Referral & Telephone Triage
Times is changing its name to Healthcare Call Center Times. We
are doing this as the new name better describes the scope of our
editorial coverage. In addition to articles on physician
referral and telephone nurse advice and triage, we now regularly
carry stories about the many other activities that healthcare
call centers are doing today: Scheduling, post discharge calls,
switchboard, patient transfers, disease management, physician
and clinic appointments, health coaching, appointment reminder
calls, handling web interactions, and more. We’re just keeping
up with the times.
