Marketing Report is proud to sponsor the Twenty-Fourth Annual
Admissions Advertising Awards.
It was twenty-four year’s ago that this national competition began
its efforts to recognize the field of admissions marketing and
advertising. Today, the industry has matured into a
sophisticated and competitive field, meeting the needs of
knowledgeable prospects who are making their own educational
decisions.
Winners have been announced in the Twenty-Fourth Annual
Admissions Advertising Awards, sponsored by Admissions
Marketing Report. The Admissions Advertising Awards is the
largest educational advertising awards competition in the
country. This year, over two thousand entries were received from
more than one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary
schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.
Sixteen schools were recognized by the judges as a “Best of
Show” winner. Gold awards were granted to two hundred and
the thirty-nine schools and silver awards were awarded to two
hundred and ten schools. Judges for the Admissions Advertising
Awards consisted of a national panel of admissions’ marketers,
advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising
professionals and the editorial board of Admissions Marketing
Report.
Admissions Marketing Report has been for twenty-five years the
nation’s leading marketing publication for higher education. The
monthly publication is in its twenty-fifth year and is read each
month by thousands of admissions marketers at colleges and
universities throughout the country.
Recently the publication was renamed Higher Education Marketing
Report to more appropriately reflect the expanding role of
marketers at colleges and universities.
Awards and certificates will be given to those entrants whose
programs and materials display exceptional quality, creativity
and message effectiveness. Our judges will also present a
select number of “Best of Show” awards. These are special
commendations given to entrants whose work exhibits the highest
standards of excellence.
A listing of the winners will be published in the March 2009
issue of Admissions Marketing Report. All
entrants, both institution and agency, will receive a copy of
this publication. Winners will also be posted on our web site on
February 25, 2009. Following the contest, selection will take
place for the Admissions
Advertising Awards Yearbook and Video. The best entries
will be compiled and available to purchase next year.
